Who is someone you admire, and why?
My mother, for raising someone as weird as me.

People who don’t enter the freeway at freeway speeds. Bad breath.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I can crochet.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Usually up north in a cabin on a small lake.
If we went to happy hour, what would you order?
Bourbon, one ice cube.
What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
My EMS skills. I used to work for bell ambulance and the high volume environment really helped me get good dealing with all kinds of people and scenarios.
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Spending time with my dog in a peaceful quiet environment.
What do you do with friends in your spare time?
Something simple. Depends on the time of year. In the summer I like to go musky fishing and have bonfires. In the winter we go for hikes or fat biking in the snow.
What would be your personal motto?
Don’t take life too seriously.
In another life, I’m pretty sure I was?
A Dolphin because Im goofy yet graceful.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is?
Being okay with saying no and not being a yes man to everything.
What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join the department?
Make sure you enjoy doing EMS. Be humble and ask a lot of questions.
If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I’d probably be?
Delivering packages for Amazon or FedEx.
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
With all the different personalities we work with, and not everyone may get along, when the tones go off, we all come together and bring something to whatever task we need to accomplish.
What was your favorite TV show when growing up?
Married with Children.
Can you play any instruments?
I can play a bit of Ukulele.
What’s the strangest talent you have?
I’m good with doing impersonations of people.
What was your childhood nickname?
Do you have any strange phobias?
I don’t like the feeling of cotton balls.
What are three things left on your bucket list?
I want to do a backpacking trip in the Appalachian Mountains. Hangout with a chimpanzee/monkey. I also would like to ocean scuba.
