Who is someone you admire, and why?
My mom. She’s one of the smartest, strongest, and most resilient women I know.

Tell me two pet peeves?
When people litter, and when people are rude to customer service workers.

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I like to paint, and can read an 800 page book in a day!

If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
Either on the beach or hiking.

If we went to happy hour, what would you order?
Tequila Mule with an extra lime.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
My ability to learn quickly, adaptability, and compassion.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working?
Spending time with my friends, family, and pets- or reading!

What do you do with friends in your spare time?
Watch movies, share some good laughs, and grab food.

What would be your personal motto?
It’s better to try and fail than to wonder “what if?”.

In another life, I’m pretty sure I was?
A librarian.

The best piece of advice I’ve ever been given is?
To always be kind; you never know what someone is going through in their personal life.

What advice would you give a candidate who wants to join the department?
Believe in yourself, work hard, and always keep pushing.

If I weren’t so damn good at my job, I’d probably be?
A marine biologist- I love the ocean.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
Being able to show girls and young women that they can do this job too!

What was your favorite TV show when growing up?
It’s a tie between Scooby Doo and Spongebob

Can you play any instruments?
Not anymore, but I used to be able to play the flute and the clarinet!

What’s the strangest talent you have?
My best friend and I can have a full conversation using only the word “buffalo”.

What was your childhood nickname?
Roo.

Do you have any strange phobias?
Foniasophobia (I listen to way too many true crime podcasts).

What are three things left on your bucket list?
To go to Europe, have a hobby farm, and to see the northern lights!
